Sean worked on MorningStar at Laurelhurst from initial concept through grand opening, serving as Project Architect and remaining one of only two original team members through the project’s full duration. Her work spanned design development, entitlement and Portland Design Review, construction documentation, value management, and construction administration.

Throughout design and construction, she coordinated closely with the client, consultants, contractor, and regulatory agencies to resolve design, technical, permitting, and licensing requirements.

• Navigated a challenging urban infill site with approximately 400 feet of frontage and a 15-foot elevation change

• Coordinated massing, material modulation, and strategic grading to respond to Portland Design Review requirements and the surrounding neighborhood

• Coordinated assisted living and memory care program, permitting, and licensing requirements through project completion
